Aft layout and features

Performance enthusiasts will appreciate Mercury's engine options. The Coupe 830 comes with a sporty 250 hp engine, but upgrades are available to twin 200 hp engines or a fierce 350 or 400 hp V10. Flanking the engine are spacious bathing platforms connected by a walkway. These platforms include anchor storage and space for ropes. Here, you'll also find an anchor winch and a swimming ladder.

The aft lounge area is highly customisable and features two comfortable couches for six adults. A table between the couches makes this the ideal spot for a dinner at sea. The backrest on the couch by the stern can flip around, allowing you to enjoy an undisturbed landscape view.

For extra space, you can stow away the table, and the couch attached to the aft wall of the wheelhouse can be folded into the wheelhouse wall. The stern couch is modular, which you can remove to create more deck space.

The aft deck area includes fender storage and ample space under the stern bench to keep the deck organised. Behind the backrest of the aft wheelhouse couch, you'll find a cover to protect your cushions.

Wheelhouse layout and features

The Coupe 830 features a well-equipped and inviting wheelhouse. Unlike the larger Coupe 905, which you enter from an aft door, the Coupe 830 wheelhouse has two side doors on both port and starboard sides, maximising space on the 8.3-metre boat. Inside, the clean and open design flows from the dining area in the back to the sleeping cabin in the front. If you go for the canvas sunroof design, you can open up the roof, creating an impressive sense of light and space in the wheelhouse.

At the helm, you have complete control with a 360-degree view of the sea. From the dashboard, you can control everything in the boat, including lights, windlass, bow thrusters and more. The adjustable steering wheel, two footrests, and an ergonomic driving seat ensure comfort.

The driving- and passenger seat can face the dining area, which seats five adults. The wooden table with built-in cup holders is on a swivel, allowing you to adjust it for more space. You can transform the area into a double bed. Cutouts on both sides of the rear couch create ample sleeping space.

The cosy bow cabin serves as the main sleeping area, featuring a comfortable double bed and a thick curtain in the doorway for privacy. The double-padded mattress and side windows provide a serene sleeping environment, and lights on the padded headrest allow for late-night reading. Opening the hatch above you lets a soothing breeze of fresh air into the cabin, allowing optimal airflow during the night.

The adjacent bathroom includes an electric toilet, sink, and stylish wood and fabric panels. This area also provides convenient access to the dashboard electronics. A sizeable window with a privacy curtain completes the space.

Bow layout and features

Generous walkways create a seamless flow from aft to bow. The elegant sunbed on the bow, accommodating two adults, is a favourite spot to unwind. It features an ergonomic frame with integrated cup holders. And a sunshade rig adds comfort on sunny days.

The cushions fold for quick coverage with a protective canvas. Under the cushions, you'll find the hatch, which allows for increased airflow to the sleeping cabin below and provides easy access for storing baggage.

The bow has space for an anchor windlass, a storage compartment for the anchor chain, and a compartment for the boat's gas cylinder connected to the gas system.

Practicalities

Nordkapp vessels are known for practical solutions. The Coupe 830 has ample storage compartments in the stern couch, under the indoor dining area couch, and under the bed in the sleeping cabin. Nordkapp designer Espen Thorup thoughtfully placed integrated storage around the boat, such as the floor compartment by the port-side door of the wheelhouse.

The boat features numerous integrated areas for personal items and ample charging opportunities. Sturdy handrails around the vessel ensure safe movement, while integrated cup holders provide convenient spots for your drinks. Finite details such as cleats placed outside the doorways make handling the boat solo a breeze.

Luxuries include a shower by the bathing platforms, a refrigerator in the wheelhouse, and a sink and gas burner that fold out from under the passenger seat. These features ensure you stay refreshed, well-fed, and comfortable while enjoying your days at sea.
